Drop in anytime between 10:15 AM – 2:30 PM for
A Nature Experience for Families with Young Children, 18 months–5 years. (Plus siblings)
Prince George Families are invited to spend time exploring the play areas, enjoying a picnic, and experiencing the woodland with their children.
Throughout the day, we will offer Woodland Adventures — guided, fun, and informative 45-minute nature walks and woodland explorations for families. These adventures include a walk through the woodland, searching for signs of spring and small creatures, exploring natural play areas, and visiting the small stream for activities like leaf fishing, rock plopping, and building simple dams.
Along the way, children may climb logs, balance, run, explore, and collect small natural items to use in a nature collage.
Each Woodland Adventure ends in the forest classroom, where children can continue with free play.
